MYRIAD OF FEET TROOPED TO EMBRACE WEALTH BY GIDEON ABOWHA

Myriad of feet trooped to embrace wealth

I._Ese girigiri nile anjonfe_
   Men of kleptomaniac fingers
  Women of wealth linger.
  Giraffe neck beings.
I call them, "Thieves of  the neighborhood."
 Wealth suckler of our time
The digger of the mine.
Trooped at embracing the unlabored wealth.
When riches fell amidst; their presence was recognized
When wealth traveled awhile; scarcely were they recognized.
The wealth looters; lads and lass of embezzlement
Rags and sacks; my abode filled in merriment.
Thousand feet wears chronologically arranged at the doorstep of my abode
Gestures and laughter paved way amidst in accord.

II. *Awon Omo Ale*
My by-name being  used to order ale
Uncountable countable bills paid.
Brokeness giggled at my present extravagance.
Suddenly, in their sight I became a money beast
Deceitfully I received; hailing at all ends, from the south and from the east.
In my mind; felt their aura egocentric
At sometime; saw their harmful eccentric.
In my abode; everyday seems razzmatazz and christmassy.
These are the people who mocked and spat at me; when there was nothing
At a point they came; when there was something.

III. *Nigbati mowa ninu ishe nibo niwon wa?*
*Igbati oju Owo npon mi nibo niwon wa?*
All blame government; but we're also the corrupt masters of ourselves
Lurking suspicion at ourselves.
Trust travels to the hades
The fake sages of the ages.
Our nation turned a place; recognized only the high-class
Our country now a home; spaceful for the low-class.
No money, no love! No money, no friends!
When money trooped in; you fame and trends.

IV. *Asabi* whom I trusted was my first enemey
Now that am purse-filled; she became my person.
Back in the days; my tagged names lost count
" *Akushe Okunrin*" so I was called.
By them am called now melodious names
" *Ife mi*" " *Oko mi owon*"
My imperfections became perfect to them now.
*Mtcheeew*.... *Awon were gbogbo*

V. *Akanmu* too is not excluded
He was my friend; but I was poor
He turned my enemy overnight.
He said, I belong to his class no more
I was all alone battling life and fending for myself.
Now that the nature smiled at me; In their sight I turned prominent
My eminence eminently became eminent.
Battalion minds meant to stumble upon wealth they never worked for
They located me with unworthy entitlement am not meant for
Not in twos they came but in fours.
My yard was silently silent like a graveyard; when there was none.
Now they're merrily merry at embracing my wealth
_They're the myriad minds trooped to embrace unworked wealth
